In late autumn of 1853 Julius Blüthner in Leipzig decided "to craft and to sell new fortepianos and Grand Pianos of German and English construction". Over the decades, the company grew into one of the most fascinating piano manufacturers in the world. Blüthner is still in family hands and builds most of its instruments in their factory in Leipzig. For the Austrian market we have implemented a local repositioning process of the Blüthner brand.
